For the next two and a half weeks, prepare for wine suggestions for your Thanksgiving meal from every major (and minor) wine writer in the country. Don't hate them, they have to fill space, its what they do.

In your summary of all the "wine for Thanksgiving" articles, you say "...Sparkling (not Champagne, this is an American holiday!)"
but also "Beaujolais Noveau"
I suppose one could make the case that Beaujolais Nouveau is so marketing-driven that it's essentially an American wine, but it's still made in France and shipped over.
